The Leake Academy Rebels traveled to Senatobia tonight to play the Chiefs of Magnolia Heights School in the semi final round of the state MAIS 5A playoffs. The number 3 seed Rebels entered the game 8-3 on the season while the 2 seed Chiefs entered with an 11-1 season record. The Rebels were up by 4 points at halftime, 14-10. Booth teams would add a couple of touchdowns in the second half with the Rebels winning the game by 5 points, 28-23 to advance to the State Championship game next Friday night at Jackson Academy playing the Pioneers of Parklane Academy from McComb.
