The Leake Academy Varsity basketball teams were featured on Boswell Media Sports tonight live from the Joe F Shepard Gymnasium playing the final regular season games hosting the Jaguars from Wayne Academy from Waynesboro. The Lady Rebels improved their season record to 28-1 overall and 8-1 in 5A District 2 by defeating the Lady Jaguars by 31 points, 57-26. The Rebels improved to 19-6 overall and 7-2 in the district by defeating the Wayne Jaguars by 23 points, 58-35. Leake Academy will now enter into the District 2- 5A tournament next week at Lamar School in Meridian. Date and time for the Rebels will be announced when they become available.
