Leake Academy Rebels QB George Wilcox attended the 601 Elite QB Camp Saturday night at Jackson Academy.
Wilcox was joined at the camp by tight end Majure Chandler.
Organized by QB coach Wyatt Davis, the camp, which brings together top high school and junior college quarterbacks from the southeast, focuses on refining mechanics, footwork, and decision-making under live pressure.
“I didn’t throw my best, but I came out here and competed and that’s all you really ask for,” said Wilcox. “It was a fun time. I got to see a lot of guys I don’t get to normally see and hang out and talk with them…”
The Rebels open the 2025 season Friday, Aug 29 against Simpson Academy.
