PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–A father and son were reported in a fight Friday night shortly after 6 p.m. on County Rd. 509 in Neshoba County.
The son reported that his father choked him and had a gun threatening to shoot his dog.
As deputies sped toward the home they were informed that the father was possibly suicidal and dangerous.
The father’s girlfriend told dispatchers that the addault did not happen.
The resolution was unclear.
