The Leake County Sheriff’s Office spent time with the community through outreach and fellowship events in Carthage last week.
Sheriff Randy W. Atkinson, along with investigators Ray and Hardy, visited Leake Academy on Thursday, April 16. During their visit, they spoke with students about littering and crime prevention, followed by a question-and-answer session.
On Friday, April 17, the Leake County Sheriff’s Office was invited to lunch at the Beehive. Sheriff Atkinson and all on duty investigators and deputies attended and visited with residents. LCSO says everyone enjoyed the meal and their time spent with residents.
