CARTHAGE, Miss.–Carthage Police were called to the Cash Saver Saturday afternoon at 5:15 when the manager reported two people possibly trying to pass bad checks.
Officers recognized the people as having warrants with the city.
They left the parking lot before police got there. But, officers soon caught up with their Chevy dually truck and pulled them over in a parking lot.
The couple was arrested and their truck towed.
It was unclear what the warrants were for.
