BUTLER, Penn.-Congressman Michael Guest, who represents parts of central Mississippi in Washington, visited the site in Butler, Penn., where former Pres. Donald Trump was shot during an attempt on his life.
Guest visited Monday as the head of the Secret Service was questioned by a House oversight committee.
His conclusion, as many people have said, is that the incident was a “colossal failure” for the Secret Service.
“After visiting the rally site today, it is clear to me that the assassination attempt can only be described as a colossal failure. It was a failure in planning, execution, and leadership. Therefore, I am calling for the resignation of Secret Service Director Cheatle,” said Guest on X.
He visited with other Republican colleagues.
