Iesha McGee has been arrested for the murder of Anthony Callahan.
The incident occurred Sunday at Belhaven Apartments on South Valley St. in Carthage. Chief Billy McMillan says it began as an argument and escalated to Iesha McGee stabbing her boyfriend, Anthony Callahan.
Mr. Callahan was transported by ambulance to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Leake where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Iesha McGee has been charged with murder and is being held at the Leake County Correctional Facility.
