Level-2 Storm Risk Now Covers the Entire Area

A Level-2 “slight” risk of severe storms has been expanded to cover most of Mississippi including all of the local area.  The National Weather Service says damaging winds up to 60 mph and a few brief tornadoes will be possible late tonight and early Sunday in this part of the state as a cold front moves through.  One to two inches of rain could fall.   The colder air behind the front will knock temperatures down into the low 40s Sunday night.
