Stormy Week Ahead for Mississippi

SHARE NOW

After weekend storms left behind some scattered damage across central Mississippi, more rough weather is expected this week.  Parts of the local area, including Attala, Holmes, Carroll, Montgomery, Choctaw and Winston counties, are under a Level-1 “marginal” risk of isolated severe storms today and tonight with damaging winds and hail possible.  Tuesday, stronger storms are in the forecast with the entire area under a Level-2 “slight” risk of severe storms. Tornadoes can’t be ruled out.  Wednesday, much of the local area will drop back to a Level-1 risk of isolated severe storms.
