On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at approximately 4:40 p.m., Carthage Fire Department, Carthage Police, and EMS were dispatched to a three-vehicle crash on Hwy 16 at the intersection of South Van Buren St. One of the vehicles rolled over during the wreck. Two people were transported to the hospital via ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
