Leake County law enforcement and emergency responders dealt with three separate traffic incidents on Wednesday, one of which resulted in injuries.
Early in the morning, Leake County Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on Utah Road; no injuries were reported.
Later in the day, around 5 p.m., Carthage Police, EMS, and Carthage Fire Department attended a two-vehicle accident on Highway 16 West near Huddle House, where two people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Shortly afterward, deputies were called to another single-vehicle incident on Highway 16 West near Stokes Lane; fortunately, no injuries occurred in this crash.
