Students across Mississippi have until March 23, 2026, to submit entries for the 2026 College Savings Art Contest and compete for more than $8,000 in Mississippi Affordable College Savings (MACS) scholarships.
This year’s theme asks students to explore, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” through their original artwork.
The contest is open to all Mississippi students from PreK through 12th grade, including those in classrooms, after-school programs, or homeschooling. Scholarship prizes include:

First place: $1,000 MACS scholarship in each age group

Second place: $500 MACS scholarship in each age group

Third place: $250 MACS scholarship in each age group
Age categories are:

Pre-K – 2nd Grade

3rd – 5th Grades
-
6th – 8th Grades
-
9th – 12th Grades
Students in PreK through 2nd Grade should submit artwork using an official entry form. Students in 3rd through 12th Grades should submit an original 8.5” x 11” artwork in a medium of their choice.
In addition, the teacher with the most student entries will receive a $1,000 scholarship to support continued education, classroom supplies, and more.
