Leake County Deputies responded to two separate motor vehicle accidents on Thursday, August 8.
The first incident occurred just before 1 a.m. on Hwy 35 N near County Line Rd., where a vehicle struck a deer and suffered a flat tire. No injuries were reported.
Later in the afternoon, a three-vehicle crash occurred on Hwy 25 N. The cause of the crash is currently unknown. Responding agencies included Leake County Deputies, MS Highway Patrol, EMS, and Barnes Volunteers. Only minor injuries were reported.
