CARTHAGE, Miss.–Leake County deputies were called to a one-vehicle wreck early Saturday morning.
The wreck was on Hwy. 16 east near Adams Rd. about 1:45 a.m.
It was originally called in as a two-vehicle wreck, but it was later determined that a car hit a deer.
Someone was injured in the wreck and Edinburg volunteer firefighters and an ambulance were called, as was the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
