CARTHAGE, Miss.–Several calls came in to dispatchers in Leake County Friday night about suspicious people.
The calls were all around the same time, 9:30 p.m.
At least two of the calls were for a suspicious man and truck on Drysdale Rd., near Hwy. 16, west of Carthage. One caller said that it appeared someone was shining a light in their yard.
While deputies were checking that out, another call about a suspicious man came in from the Dollar General area in Edinburg.
That man was in a dark jacket walking down Hwy. 16.
Deputies caught up with the truck that was reported on Drysdale Rd. No arrest was made.
