Storm Risk Upgraded for Parts of Local Area

Some stormy weather is possible this weekend.  Much of this area has been placed under a Level-2 “slight” risk of severe storms on Saturday as a cold front moves into the state. A Level-1 “marginal” risk is posted for the eastern part of the area.  The storms could produce damaging winds, hail and from one to three inches of rain.  The National Weather Service says tornadoes can’t be ruled out.
