Leake Academy quarterback George Wilcox has been named an “Athlete of the Week” by The Clarion Ledger.
Wilcox earned the honor for his performance in the Rebels’ 68-13 win over East Rankin from Friday, Oct. 11.
In that game, Wilcox passed completed every pass he attempted (10-10) for 371 yards and seven touchdowns.
