Intoxicated driver crashes and leaves, a disturbance with a face bite, and more Tuesday in Neshoba

Philadelphia Police were alerted that there were 3 small children left alone in a vehicle in the parking lot of Dollar Tree just after 9 a.m.  Officers searched the area but did not find the vehicle.

Philadelphia Police responded to a call reporting a disturbance in progress at Murphy USA gas station at 12:06 p.m.  The caller stated that someone was cursing at them and demanded they get to pump their gas first.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Pearl Ave. for a disturbance in progress between a male and female at 12:47 p.m.  Officers requested EMS to the scene when they discovered one person had a severe bite mark on their jaw.

Neshoba Deputies received multiple calls reporting that a vehicle was wrecked in a ditch on Hwy 488 near County Rd. 339 just after 3 p.m.  Deputies also received several calls about a possibly intoxicated male walking in the middle of the roadway in the same area, leading them to believe this was the driver of the wrecked vehicle.  The man was reportedly picked up by a someone in a vehicle and driven elsewhere.

Neshoba Deputies responded to a call reporting that someone broke into a building and vandalized the property on Hwy 19 N near the Colonial Motel at 3:14 p.m.
